Eden’s Pieces Studio Policies

For tattoos, you must be 18 years of age or older and please bring a valid State or Federal Photo ID. Please do not shave any area prior to your appointment, no lotions, oils, or skincare products. Drink plenty of water and eat prior to your tattoo appointment. Tattoo client should avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinning medications within 24 hours of your appointment. After your appointment please refer to your aftercare card for following aftercare instructions. Doing so, as written, will help ensure success of your service. The aftercare instructions are also listed at the bottom of your waiver form that will be sent to the email you provided. If you experience any reaction, infection, irritation following your service you can notify me and we can discuss, but I will recommend and refer you to contact your healthcare professional for further instruction as sometimes reactions, allergies, and infections can occur if not cared for properly or exposed to bacteria.  Some signs to look for are redness, rash, swelling, pus, fever, hard raised area, etc. If you are unsure, again please contact a healthcare professional

There are some areas of the body, due to thinness of skin and cell turnover that make tattoos more likely to need touch ups. These areas include the wrist, hands, fingers, ankles, and feet. If you decide on placement in one of these areas keep in mind they will most likely require a touch up if not more than one. Fingers for example may require multiple touch ups.  There also are times an individual may have issues with ink saturation or longevity for a multitude of reasons. This is not typically due to the artist or the tattoo but the person’s skin, aftercare, or environmental exposures.

Every individual’s anatomy is different and unique. As a result, some piercings may not be attainable or advisable based on your specific anatomy. I will assess the desired location and provide my best guidance for the best piercing outcome.

If you are feeling ill, have an MRI/surgery planned in the next 3-4 months, or have a vacation with a lot of sun and swimming planned in the next 2 weeks, or you are pregnant, I recommend rescheduling your appointment until after these situations. If I suspect any alcohol or substance use prior to your appointment, I will unfortunately have to cancel your appointment and you will need to reschedule. You will be charged the full service fee in this instance. Alcohol/substance use prior to a service can cause excessive bleeding, dizziness, fainting during the procedure. For your and my safety I will have you reschedule.

I do not typically provide cover up services for tattoos unless it is a minimal touch up and in the fine line style. Please send this information and a photo in your tattoo request form for me to assess prior to booking an appointment. If I do not feel confident in your request I will unfortunately deny your request but may be able to refer you to another artist.  Touch up work of another artist’s previous work will also require a photo in your request form. Arriving at your appointment without disclosing prior artist work and without approval will result in a refusal of service and you will be responsible for the full cancellation fee policy.

There will be no refunds or exchanges for permanent jewelry after the chain is cut due to the custom fit nature of the jewelry. If you snag, stretch, or break your chain I can typically re-size and re-weld for a small fee.  You and you alone are responsible for aftercare. All jewelry sales are final. Please review and read fully the consents and waivers you sign prior to your service. You are responsible for the information contained in them.
